Being open-minded and receptive to new ideas has molded Mike's current yoga practice and teaching style. Classes are a combination of Hatha and Vinyasa yoga. We incorporate the elements of flow, conscious breathing, holding poses and increasing mental and physical strength, choreographed with contemporary music lightly playing in the background. The goal is to achieve awareness, not only of the physical body but of the mind as well. When those two elements are working together in harmony, the spirit becomes energized and capable of limitless possibilities.
Mike graduated from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana in 2002. Mike understands that the learning process is continuous and there are always opportunities to grow.
Mike finds himself in a unique situation where he can combine his professional experience with a recently discovered passion. With those two elements working together in harmony, he envisions a special environment where energy is pure and inspiration is common.
